Introduction: Demand Planner required to join a FMCG organisation to be based in West London, salary of circa £30 - £40k with benefits

The Job: The role of Demand planner required to join a market leading FMCG organisation who are increasing headcount in the Supply Chain function Responsible for a range of highly recognisable brands that are on the shelves of all the major retailers this role offers excellent scope to further your career.

Joining a Demand Planning function you will be responsible for managing forecasting for a range of key customers and you will drive forecasting accuracy to the highest possible level whilst identifying ways to increase sales and reduce costs to maximise OTIF and CS ratings in a highly competitive industry sector.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage the short, medium and long term demand forecasts
Develop, build and maintain volume and value plans
Minimise spikes in demand by working with sales and marketing to pre plan for seasonal peaks, promotions and new product launches
Work closely with the commercial functions, broader supply chain and other internal stakeholders
Maximise SKU forecasting accuracy
Meet or exceed target KIP and SLA's for areas such as costs to serve and OTIF

Who we are looking for:
You will be a Demand Planning expert with a proven track record of success that will be evident on your CV
Your Demand Planning success will have been gained within the FMCG, retail or similar high volume, low value sectors
In addition to your forecasting expertise you will have detailed understanding of the broader supply chain and the impact your decisions will have on the bigger picture
Highly commercial you will be comfortable talking to stakeholders across multiple functions
Applicants with SAP, Manugistics, JD Edwards, AS400 expertise have a strong advantage
Ideally you will be educated to degree level
