Introduction: This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing wholesale/import business supplying accessories/jewellery to high street retail accounts.
As an account manager/merchandising manager, you will be responsible for managing certain key high street retail accounts like Topshop, Debenham's, Tesco, River Island,etc. You will be responsible for end to end supply chain management, critical path management, liaising with factories in the far east, make sure that lead times are minimised, meet buyers, manage their expectations and maximise volumes and order sizes.
This is a commercial merchandising position and the ideal candidate will come from a wholesale/manufacturing/import background, within accessories/belts/bags/jewellery. You would have strong account management skills, have demonstrated commercial/sales results and have proven track record of building relationships with high street buyers.
You will be degree educated, ideally in fashion, will have an eye for fashion, be aware of trends in the market and be commercially switched on.
You will be a skilled commercial wholesale merchandiser , have excellent supply chain management skills, merchandising/sourcing/production management skills and most importantly strong communication skills.
