Introduction:

A national utilities provider require a Procurement Reporting & Analytics Manager to develop and implement analytical tools to support procurement activities. Applicants need experience within a Procurement Analyst, governance or best practice role.

The Job:

The Procurement Reporting & Analytics Manager will be responsible for developing and producing reporting and analysis to support and drive the development of strategic sourcing, category management, contract management and overall commercial strategies. In particular, the Procurement Reporting & Analytics Manager will develop and produce regular dashboard reporting on key commercial and financial metrics and management information related to supplier / subcontractor performance, and contract audit requirements. The job holder will also be required to upgrade existing analytical and reporting tools used within the Procurement function. The Procurement Reporting & Analytics Manager will manage a small team of Procurement Analysts. Key stakeholders are internal clients within the Procurement department, Contract managers across the business and external stakeholders where statutory reporting data is required.

Specific duties of the Procurement Reporting & Analytics Manager:

  1. Responsible for the provision of savings benefit forecasting, tracking and MI reports
  2. Manage the provision of dashboard reporting of Procurement KPIs
  3. Deliver a framework of commercial/cost reporting best practice and continuous improvement
  4. Develop reporting tools to capture supplier performance data
  5. Contribute to the implementation of wider supplier & contract management systems
  6. Develop repeatable analytic tools to increase the efficiency and repeatability
  7. Presentation of data to key stakeholder communities
  8. Develop a reporting Quality Management methodology to provide assurance drive a culture of CI
  9. Develop ‘investigative’ data mining and analysis of data sets to generate ‘leads’ for further investigation

Procurement Reporting & Analytics Manager applicants should meet the following criteria:

  1. Experience within an Analytical, data driven, governance, procurement policy or procurement best practice role
  2. Proven track record in implementing and developing analytical tools to support procurement activities
  3. Leadership skills and ability
  4. Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
  5. Strong IT skills in regards to MS Excel, Data and Data Presentation
