Employment Tax Senior - Top 10 firm - Southampton

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Employment Tax Senior to progress their career at a leading Top 10 firm in Southampton. You will work within the Employment Tax team providing Tax compliance and advisory services for a wide range of clients.

Reporting into the relevant Manager, Director and/or Partner, you will take control of a portfolio of clients and their day to day tax compliance affairs, whilst supervising the Tax team. You will also be involved with tax advisory work on an ad hoc basis.

Key responsibilities will include: day to day tax compliance affairs of clients and related advisory matters, drafting letters and reports for review, identifying risk and technical matters, ensure WIP is monitored and liaise with line managers on client billing, support and develop more junior staff along with developing professional relationships with clients and within the firm.

Desirable candidates will have current Employment Tax experience at either a firm of Chartered Accountants or HMRC. You will be ACA and/or CTA qualified (or equivalent) and have significant experience of tax compliance and preferably Tax advisory too. You will have supervised before and be self-motivated and able to work to tight deadlines.
