A global provider of Data and analysis for Aerospace and Defense life cycle are looking for a Sales Specialist for a European Client portfolio.
Summary:
• To grow revenue within a given portfolio of European based prospects.
• Within your allocated territories your objectives are to generate and develop new sales opportunities for our Defence and Security solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Full commercial responsibility for a portfolio of territories and prospects and therefore having accountability for new revenue opportunities.
• You will develop new business relationships, generate and negotiate new business to an agreed annual target, to increase year on year.
• Implement and manage a sales strategy for entire prospect portfolio to achieve sales goals.
• Develop and execute strategies for lead generation, sales and all other matters related to revenue generation.
• To be able to effectively demonstrate and position our full product range as well as overview of capabilities.
• Presenting our Defence and Security solutions to potential clients through direct communication, in face to face meetings, telephone calls and emails.
• Manage and maintain an active sales pipeline that reflects activities and opportunities using SFA.
• Provide timely contact and status reports to relevant departments.
• Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development ideas.
• Demonstrate ability to work both independently and as part of a team in support of implementation projects (GAM/SAM/MAM/AM) and order processing (Legal, Fulfillment, Finance…).
• To promote, maintain & protect the ‘Culture and Values’ & ensure effective feedback with global counterparts.
Required Education:
• Educated to at least degree level or equivalent.
Required Experience:
• effective sales performance/record.
• Proven experience of working in a new business sales role
• Strong comfort level on the phone, excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written, to include networking, cold calling, group/individual presentations and contract negotiation
• A sound understanding of the European A&D sector would be a distinct advantage
• Enthusiasm and commitment are essential
Other skills:
• A second European language would be beneficial.
