Category Manager- Call Centre

International Infrastructure business based in Reading are seeking for a Senior Category Manager (Call Centre). This is a great opportunity for an individual who will manage the strategic procurement direction for the call centre spend UK & Europe. To apply you must have looked at Call Centre spend in your current role or previously, you may also apply if you are a call centre manager who is looking for a different career path. Key responsibilities:

-Create and implement procurement strategy for call centres. Creating category plans and tactical plans.
-Manage activity plans to ensure that contract’s, tenders and renewals are managed.
-Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with key stakeholders.
-Develop the subject matter expertise in the call centre category understanding market forces, cost drivers of the market, and what motivate suppliers in order to drive the ongoing cost effectiveness.
-As mentioned ideally my client is looking for an individual who has procurement call centre experience never the less they are open to look at call centre managers who have looked after the strategy and are willing to learn and develop in to a procurement professional.
