Proven successful sales experience selling capital equipment or laboratory equipment, ideally selling into the veterinary sector
My client, a leading laboratory services provider within the veterinary sector have an opening for a Capital Sales Executive to cover the South East Territory.
In this role you will be field based selling laboratory instruments and capital equipment to the vets on your patch.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Selling of all laboratory instruments and diagnostic equipment
• Maintain sales forecast and territory plan (including the distributor/agent management and representatives) within the geographical territory
• Manage time, territory and distributor/agent relations
• All aspects of sales administration, including use of sales force automation and record keeping
• Attend trade shows, educational (o.a. sales training) commitments and sales team meetings
• Achieve and maintain technical knowledge of the UK Laboratory products and services
• Responsible for ensuring all administrative paperwork, reporting to leasing company and completed Delivery and Acceptance (D&As) are done in a timely fashion and in accordance with Company policies
• In cooperation with peers and trainers, gather required information for preparation and completion of monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc sales analysis
• To leverage strong working relationships with their respective Diagnostic Sales Specialists and FTS rep and link associated compensation to drive the correct behaviour in terms of collective working. Whether from direct sales, bundling or qualified generated leads. Whilst at the same time driving individual performances.

• Must be professionally mature, and be able to adapt to an independent and team-oriented environment.
• General business knowledge.
• Valid drivers license, must drive intensively to meet with customers etc.
• Multi-tasking, creativity, technical aptitude, proven track record, computer skills, and knowledge of veterinary diagnostics preferred.
