Senior Category Manager- Marketing

A new opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Manager- Marketing (ATL & BTL). You will be working for a well known UK/EMEA brand based in Reading. This is an exciting opportunity if you are looking for career progression and a working for an organisation who care about the development of their staff. Key responsibilities:

-Develop procurement category plans for all Marketing procurement expenditure looking at both ABL (online, Digital, TV) and BTL (mainly print, market research and POS).
-Develops and maintains relationships with key existing suppliers and new partners within the supply market for the category or group of sub-categories.
-Organizes cross functional team working with internal stakeholders to identify category or groups of sub-category improvement opportunities.
-Identifies, recommends and oversees the implementation of control actions in collaboration with suppliers and the Business Units to improve performance.
