Our client, a Chatham based Insurance company is now looking for a Team Manager for their Underwriting Performance team.
As Team Manager Underwriting, you will report to the Senior Management of Underwriting Performance and your key responsibilities will include managing the administration of the underwriting affairs of members. You will carry this out in accordance with the law of the agency, FSA and regulations, plus Members’ agency policy and procedures.
You will have a sound knowledge of the rules relating to membership, and activities associated with membership - as they relate to a member’s agent. An up-to-date knowledge of processes, controls and procedures relevant to the underwriting team. You will also have an understanding of risks and issues that impact on the ability to meet objectives and the flexibility to manage ever-changing tasks, delegating when necessary and being ‘hands-on’ when required.
