Sales Specialist in Automation/MES

My client is actively looking to recruit a Sales Executive / Specialist in Automation/MES.

The organisation you would be joining are specialists in Automation and Controls with strategic vision in moving towards MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems).

You’ll be joining a well established global organisation, the UK arm of the business largely embedded on an extremely large and lucrative contract. They’re keen to invest some of this revenue in the Sales Specialist to win work in new areas. The organisation are well known as market leader across the industrial IT sector and achieve this across all of their business. They’re looking to bring an individual into the business with good industry knowledge and ideally contacts to take advantage of what is at present, a much untapped market.

Successful applicants will ideally be qualified to HND level as a minimum with a demonstrable track record in Sales across the Automation, Controls and MES market. The company are well established in the Aerospace and Automotive sectors so an individual with knowledge of these areas would be advantageous. They would very much welcome applicants with a knowledge/contacts within the Food & Drink or Packaging industries to help the firm move into these sectors. The chosen individual will to be an accomplished Account Manager, strong both in business development and the maintenance of current accounts. Strong skills in time management, communication (both written and verbal) are a must.

For this Sales Executive role, there is a generous commission scheme, laptop, mobile, pension & healthcare. The role is UK based hence travel will be required. While the post is ideally based from Nuneaton, applicants will also be considered for Derby & Manchester.
